Software Engineer
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support our other engineer with all things involving programming. In this role you will work closely with the team to bring features to life, fix bugs, and ensure the game runs well across all platforms.
Responsibilities
Build gameplay systems and features from concept to completion
Work closely with the team to ensure features align with creative goals
Help troubleshoot and fix bugs across multiple platforms
Assist in maintaining code standards
Support on other development tasks when necessary such as but not limited to helping with testing, tool development, etc.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine
Experience shipping projects developed in Unreal Engine
Strong familiarity with Blueprint scripting
Experience with collaborating across disciplines to develop features and optimize pipelines
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working on a shipped commercial game from start to finish
Prior experience with game development for consoles
Experience in a small team, remote work environment
Proficiency with Python
Experience developing plugins for Maya
Knowledge of shader programming and optimization
Familiarity with animation pipelines
